Half the weight, double the sound.

AVA One

AVA Guitars is the result of years of research and development into composite materials; it is an ongoing case study and a product in constant evolution. As the first musical instrument we developed from scratch, the results proved the superior physical and acoustic properties of the material, which has itself proven to be a source of innovation in the field of musical instruments. A legacy under a carbon skin.

Hearing is believing

Should the formal appearance of a guitar be a disruption to how a guitar should look today, or should it be closer to the classic models of the past? While a fusion of concepts may have seemed ambitious, that was the path we chose to take. We retained the legacy and style of the historic guitars of the 50s and 60s and added elegance, quality, feel, and sound.

Computer-aided tradition

Vibrant and in tune under any conditions. Visually, there is a fluid form, with the neck flowing through the body as a single piece. The body was completely computer-modeled, seeking the perfect balance between a classic shape and an innovative, bold design. The result is an extremely lightweight single-cutaway guitar that stays in tune regardless of temperature and humidity.

A complete design journey

A project like this offers a vast, rich, and challenging journey: being involved in this process from concept to production, and culminating on stage, showed the importance of correctly defining requirements, the demands regarding materials and acoustic behavior, and the challenge of a process that is entirely new for musical instruments and extremely demanding in order to offer, in the end, a product of superior quality, with surface finishes and details akin to a piece of jewelry. Which, in fact, it is.

Therefore, although our approach differs from that of a conventional luthier and is based on cutting-edge technology and current scientific knowledge, we can state that each instrument has its own temperament because it has its own history, a custom definition of technical characteristics, and individualized tuning, in addition to a set of hardware and visual features defined to respond to a unique concept.

AVA is a brand by Everythink. A concept that began its journey in 2004 as an exercise in applying composite materials to acoustics, and in particular, to musical instruments. It evolved as a brand in 2011, having been present at several editions of The NAMM Show, the world's largest event dedicated to musical instruments.
